Short answer: We collect what we need to sell and support your subscription: your name, email, phone and order details at checkout, your phone number and messages in live chat, and IP address and device details to stop fraud and abuse. We never see your card or bank login, we set no cookies for visitors, we use no ad trackers and we never sell your information.

This policy covers IPTV Rich at iptvrich.ca: the website, the checkout, the live chat on our support page and the emails we send you. If what the site does changes, this page changes first.
Who is responsible for your information?
ITLOGY LLC operates IPTV Rich and is responsible for the personal information described here (“we” and “us”). Send privacy questions, requests and complaints to help@supportiptv.ca with “Privacy” in the subject line.
What do we collect when you place an order?
- Your full name, email address and phone number.
- Your plan (devices, months, price) and channel package (Full channels or English channels only).
- Whether you are new or extending, and your current username if you give it.
- The page language, your order number and its status, including when you tap “I’ve sent the payment”.
- Your connection’s IP address and your browser’s user-agent (text naming your browser and device type), used only to prevent fraud.
This is saved as a private order record in the website’s database (WordPress, hosted by Hostinger, whose servers may be outside Canada). The order details, without your IP address or browser information, are also emailed to our team through a Google Apps Script web app that runs on Google’s servers. The website then emails you the payment instructions.
To block spam, the checkout uses a hidden field that only robots fill in, plus a counter tied to a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address that limits orders per connection and expires after an hour.
What do we see when you pay by Interac e-Transfer?
You pay inside your own bank’s app, and we see only what any Interac e-Transfer recipient sees: the sender’s name, the amount, the date and your message (your order number), which is how we match the payment. We never see your card number, online banking login, password or balance. Refunds go back to the sender by Interac e-Transfer, as our refund policy explains.
What does the live chat collect?
The live chat on /support/ runs on our support desk at supportiptv.ca. It collects:
- Your phone number, your sign-in key. It links your conversation, free trials and IPTV logins.
- Your messages and attachments, such as a photo of an error (up to 20 MB each).
- A device code: a scrambled value (a SHA-256 hash) your browser makes once from a random value, your browser type, screen size and time zone. It doesn’t reveal those details and isn’t used for advertising.
- Your connection’s IP address.
We use these to secure the chat so only you can open your conversation, to recognise devices you’ve used before, to prevent free-trial abuse and to deliver your subscription. A new device is confirmed first, by a 6-digit code emailed to the address on your account or by our team.
Reply alerts are optional. If you allow browser notifications, your browser creates a push subscription (an address for sending alerts to that browser), which the desk stores. Alerts pass through your browser maker’s push service, such as Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari. Turn them off any time in your browser settings.
Outside staffed hours (every day, 9 a.m. to midnight Eastern), an automatic assistant may reply; our team follows up in the morning. Rather not give your phone number? Email help@supportiptv.ca instead, though free trials are handled in the chat.
Do you use cookies, analytics or ad trackers?
No. The site sets no cookies when you browse, order or chat; WordPress sets login cookies only for staff who manage the site. There is no Facebook pixel, no ad network and no Google Analytics. If we add Google Analytics later, we will update this policy first.
We do keep anonymous first-party click counts: the event name (such as checkout_start), a short label (a button’s text, the plan picked, an FAQ question, a speed range from the connection check, or the first 30 characters typed in the channel search), the page path and the date. They are added to daily totals on our own server with no cookie, no IP address and no personal data. A hashed-IP counter, like the checkout’s, limits abuse and expires within an hour.
Our host’s servers and content delivery network also receive your IP address to deliver each page, and may keep technical logs for security.
What does the site store in your browser?
| Where | What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local storage (live chat) | Your phone number, a sign-in token, the device code, the country code you picked, and whether we asked about reply alerts | So this browser can reopen your chat without asking again | Until you clear this site’s data. “Switch number” removes the saved number; its sign-in token stays. |
| Session storage (checkout) | Your order number, plan, amount and the email you entered | So the payment instructions stay on screen if the page reloads | Until you tap “I’ve sent the payment” or close the tab |
Why do we use your information, and on what basis?
- To take your order, match your payment and send your login.
- To help with setup, fixes, renewals and refunds.
- To prevent fraud, spam and free-trial abuse.
- To keep the records accounting and the law require.
- To count, anonymously, which pages and buttons people use.
Our basis is your consent. Placing an order or starting a chat means you agree to these uses for that purpose; optional extras, like reply alerts, ask separately. You can withdraw consent any time by writing to us, though we can’t send a login without an email or phone number, or open the chat without your number. We don’t sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who else handles your information?
| Provider | What it does for us | What it handles |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | Hosts the website, its database and its content delivery network | Order records, anonymous counts, technical logs |
| Google (Apps Script) | Turns each new order into an email to our team | Order number, name, email, phone, plan, amount, package, new or extend details |
| Our support desk (supportiptv.ca) | Runs the live chat and reply alerts | Phone number, messages, attachments, device code, IP address, push subscription |
| Email services | Deliver payment instructions, logins and device codes | Your email address and the message |
| Your bank and Interac | Move your payment and any refund | The transfer details |
Each provider handles your information to run its service for us, under its own terms and privacy policy. We also disclose information when the law requires it, for example under a court order. Nobody else receives it.
Is your information stored outside Canada?
It can be. Hostinger, Google and our support desk may store or process information on servers outside Canada, and outside Quebec. Information held in another country is subject to that country’s laws, and its courts or authorities may be able to obtain it.
How long do you keep it?
As long as we need it for your order, your support, our accounting and our legal obligations, then we delete it.
- Orders and payment records: as long as accounting and legal rules require.
- Chat data (number, messages, attachments, device codes): deleted when you ask, though order and payment records may still need to be kept.
- Browser storage: stays on your device until you clear it.
How do you protect it?
The website and chat use HTTPS (encrypted connections). Orders and chats can be opened only by signed-in team members who need them. The chat confirms new devices, and the checkout has spam traps and per-connection limits.
No system is perfect. If a breach creates a real risk of serious harm to you, we will tell you and report it to the privacy regulator, as Canadian and Quebec law require.
What are your rights under PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25?
Canada’s federal law, PIPEDA, and Quebec’s private-sector privacy law, as updated by Law 25, give you the right to:
- Access: ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correction: fix anything wrong or incomplete.
- Deletion: ask us to delete it, except records the law makes us keep.
- Withdrawal of consent: stop a use you agreed to.
- In Quebec, also: get your information in a commonly used technological format, and be told when a decision about you is made only by automated processing, with the chance to have a person review it.
Email help@supportiptv.ca or ask in the chat. We may ask you to confirm it’s you, for example from the email or phone number on your order. We reply within 30 days, as the law requires. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Is the site meant for children?
No. Orders are for adults, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 14. If a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
How will you tell me about changes?
We update this page and its date, and we ask your consent before using information you already gave us for a new purpose. See also our terms and conditions and our IPTV subscription plans in CAD.
