Watching the Jets and Blue Bombers on IPTV in Winnipeg

Jets on TSN 3, Bombers on TSN, and every start time an hour earlier than the national promos say. Here's how IPTV fits a Winnipeg home in 2026–27, from a downtown loft to a new build in Sage Creek.

Short answer: Yes. IPTV works in Winnipeg on Bell MTS or Rogers internet, and it lists the channels that matter here: TSN 3 for 50 regional Jets games in 2026–27, Sportsnet for most of the rest, and TSN for every Blue Bombers game this season. Set your streaming device to Central Time so the guide lines up, and test a Jets night with the free 24-hour trial.

Where are Jets games on TV in 2026–27?

Fifty of the Jets’ 84 regular-season games are on TSN 3, the TSN feed for Manitoba, Saskatchewan, northwestern Ontario, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. That’s 24 home games from Canada Life Centre and 26 on the road, starting with the home opener against Boston on Friday, October 2, at 7 p.m. Dan Robertson calls play-by-play, with Landon Ferraro joining as the new colour analyst.

The other 34 games are national, and that’s where it gets tricky. Here is the split the team announced in September:

Where the game airsJets gamesCan a TV channel list carry it?
TSN 3 (regional)50Yes
Sportsnet (main feed, Sportsnet West or Sportsnet One)21Yes
Sportsnet’s own streaming service9No, streaming only
Wednesday-night streaming package on Amazon Prime4No, streaming only

So 13 Jets games this season never touch a TV channel, and no IPTV channel list, ours included, can promise them. If one of those matters to you, every Jets game is also on the radio on 680 CJOB, simulcast on Power 97. The Jets’ 2026–27 broadcast schedule marks which game goes where.

Saturday nights changed too. CBC dropped NHL games after the 2025–26 season, so Saturday Jets games now air on Sportsnet. For the rest of the league, see our guide to watching the 2026–27 NHL season in Canada without cable.

What time do games start in Winnipeg?

One hour earlier than the Eastern times printed in most national promos. Winnipeg is on Central Time, so a “7 p.m. ET” game is a 6 p.m. supper-hour game here. A few anchors worth remembering:

  • Jets at home: usually 7 p.m., like the opener.
  • Games in Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal: 7 p.m. Eastern, so 6 p.m. in Winnipeg.
  • Saturday doubleheaders on Sportsnet: traditionally 7 and 10 p.m. Eastern, which means 6 and 9 p.m. here.
  • Jets in Vancouver or Seattle: 7 p.m. Pacific is 9 p.m. Central, so the third period runs close to 11.
  • Blue Jays evening games: 7:07 p.m. in Toronto is 6:07 p.m. in Winnipeg.
  • Premier League, Saturday 3 p.m. kickoffs in England: 9 a.m. in Winnipeg for most of the season.
  • Our live chat desk: 9 a.m. to midnight Eastern is 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. in Winnipeg.

Fixing a TV guide that’s an hour off

If the guide (EPG) shows the Jets starting at 8 p.m. when puck drop is at 7, the time zone is the usual suspect. First check that your Fire TV, Android TV box or smart TV is set to Central Time. If the device is right and the guide is still off, many player apps, TiviMate among them, let you shift the guide by an hour in their settings. Our post on fixing an IPTV guide that isn’t updating covers the other causes.

Where do Blue Bombers games air?

On TSN. Every CFL game airs on TSN in 2026, the last season of the current contract, and RDS adds selected games in French. The Bombers play at Princess Auto Stadium, which hosted the 112th Grey Cup on November 16, 2025. The 2026 Grey Cup is on Sunday, November 15, at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, on TSN and CTV in English and RDS in French.

Next season brings a real change. Under the CFL’s new six-year deal with Bell Media, which starts in 2027, TSN keeps 60 regular-season games, including the Thursday and Friday night windows, but Saturday Night Football moves to the streaming service DAZN on an exclusive basis. Some Bombers Saturday games in 2027 won’t be on any TV channel. For more on the league, read how to watch the CFL and the Grey Cup in Canada or check the CFL’s official site.

Is there still CPL soccer in Winnipeg?

Not in 2026. Valour FC, owned by the Winnipeg Football Club, suspended operations after the 2025 season, with the owners pointing to low attendance. The 2026 CPL season went ahead with eight clubs and none in Manitoba, so the nearest CPL team is Cavalry FC in Calgary.

If you still follow the league, TSN shows a weekly CPL Match of the Week and CBC airs selected games. Early risers who follow the Premier League or the Champions League can use the trial to see which sports channels in the list carry the match they want.

Bell MTS or Rogers: which Winnipeg internet works for IPTV?

Either one, as long as the TV gets a steady signal. Bell MTS, the old Manitoba Telecom Services that Bell bought in 2017, sells fibre in much of the city. Rogers runs the cable network it took over when it bought Shaw in 2023. Smaller providers resell access on those lines. Your plan speed is rarely the weak point; the path from the router to the TV usually is.

Exchange District lofts and downtown condos

Old warehouse lofts have brick walls and heavy timber, and the open layout helps only until there is a brick wall between the router and the bedroom TV. In the newer towers along Waterfront Drive and near True North Square, dozens of neighbours’ networks crowd the 2.4 GHz band. Use 5 GHz, or a cable where you can.

Apartment blocks along Pembina and in Osborne Village

Student-heavy buildings get busy in the evening, inside the walls and on the wire. If streams stutter only after supper, test with a laptop plugged into the router: if the wired test is fine, the problem is Wi-Fi, not your provider.

New houses in Sage Creek, Bridgwater and Waverley West

Many new builds put the modem in a basement utility room, far from the main-floor TV. If your house has network jacks in the walls, use the one behind the TV. If not, a mesh point on the main floor usually does it.

Outside the Perimeter

In East St. Paul, Headingley, Springfield and the other rural municipalities around the city, plenty of homes use Starlink or fixed wireless. Stick with HD at about 5 Mbps per stream, and keep an eye on data caps: Full HD uses about 3 GB an hour, and a playoff run adds up.

For a busy Jets night, add up the screens. The game in Full HD (10 Mbps) plus two HD streams in other rooms (5 Mbps each) comes to 20 Mbps; with about 30% headroom for everything else in the house, you want roughly 26 Mbps free. If you’re eyeing 4K, read the internet speed you need for 4K IPTV first.

Tagalog, Punjabi, French: which package fits a Winnipeg home?

If anyone at home watches in a language other than English, take the Full package. Winnipeg is one of the most linguistically mixed cities on the Prairies: in the 2021 census, 6.0% of residents had Tagalog as their mother tongue and 4.1% had Punjabi, with Mandarin next at 1.5%. The Full package sorts international channels by country. Line-ups are set by the channel sources and do change, so before paying, use the trial to find the Filipino or Punjabi channel your family actually watches.

French has deep roots here too. Saint-Boniface is the largest francophone community in Western Canada, and French-speaking homes will want RDS, TVA and ICI Radio-Canada Télé from the Full package. Radio-Canada has a Manitoba station, so check whether the channel list shows the Manitoba edition or a Montreal feed.

The English-only package suits homes that want a shorter guide: TSN, Sportsnet, CTV, CBC, Global and Citytv without hundreds of channels to scroll past.

Is IPTV Rich right for you in Winnipeg?

Yes, if you want TSN 3, Sportsnet and the Bombers on TSN without a cable package, and your internet holds up on game nights. A 3-month plan on 1 device is $27, enough to see how the season starts; 12 months is $77. Every option is on our price list for IPTV subscriptions, and the home page explains how IPTV Rich’s Canadian IPTV service works.

Look elsewhere if:

  • You need all 84 Jets games on TV. Thirteen are streaming-only, so no channel list can include them.
  • You live outside the Perimeter on a plan with a small data cap.
  • You want to pay by credit card or talk to someone by phone. We take Interac e-Transfer only, and support is by live chat and email.
  • You’re happy with your Bell MTS or Rogers TV service and use it every day. Switching only makes sense if you want to drop that bill.

Moving across the Prairies? Compare with IPTV in Calgary and IPTV in Edmonton, which sit in a different TSN region, or browse every city on the IPTV near me page.

Winnipeg IPTV questions

Why does my TV guide show Jets games an hour late?

Your streaming device is probably set to Eastern Time. Change it to Central Time in the device settings. If the guide is still an hour off, use your player app’s guide time-shift setting.

Can I watch Jets games on TSN 3 with IPTV Rich?

Yes. TSN 1 to 5 are in the channel list, including TSN 3, which carries 50 regional Jets games this season. The 13 games sold to streaming services are not on any TV channel.

What happened to Valour FC?

The club suspended operations after the 2025 season, and there is no CPL team in Winnipeg in 2026. TSN and CBC still show selected CPL matches from the rest of the league.

Does IPTV Rich work with Bell MTS fibre and Rogers internet?

Yes. IPTV only needs an internet connection, so it runs on Bell MTS, Rogers or a smaller provider. For the steadiest picture, connect the main TV with an Ethernet cable.

When can I reach support from Winnipeg?

Live chat is staffed every day from 9 a.m. to midnight Eastern, which is 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. in Winnipeg. Messages sent later may get a reply from the automatic assistant, and the team answers in the morning.
